National Honor Society (NHS)

Teacher/Sponsor = Irene Doyle

National Honor Society (NHS) members are selected by a faculty advisory committee on the basis of a required minimum 3.5 (unweighted) grade point average, community service, and character ratings from the faculty. NHS works to exemplify the qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Membership dues required. Students meet after school or during lunch.

Student Leadership (Student Council) officers are elected each school year. The Council, along with class and student organization representatives meet during the Leadership Class, and all council members are expected to enroll in the Leadership class. They act in a support role to the building administration in the decisions regarding policy and planning of student activities. If you aren't elected or your schedule does not permit, you can still be a member and attend the scheduled meetings. Students meet after school or during lunch.
