Aspen Science Center Internship

The Aspen Science Center (ASC) is thrilled to announce a NEW internship opportunity that we are now accepting applications for. The Community STEM Leaders Internship is a PAID internship created to empower local youth to increase their community engagement with STEM education and sustain their interest in STEM.

ASC is a STEM Education nonprofit based in Carbondale, with a mission of advancing public understanding of science through lifelong discovery, exploration, and education.

As a Community STEM Leadership Intern, students will identify local opportunities for STEM engagement and develop community-based programing, engage in STEM educational skills and develop personal/professional goals through programing and a professional mentor.

Aspen Science Center offers a paid internship for high school students to lead STEM programs in their communities. Internship Overview Design and lead STEM programs in local communities. ​ Gain career experience in a chosen STEM field. ​ Build connections with other passionate teens in STEM. ​ Eligibility Open to 10th to 12th grade students. Ideal for those seeking leadership opportunities in STEM. ​ Location Aspen Science Center is located in Carbondale. ​ Interns will complete their internship in their hometowns.
