MayFest Youth Resource Fair- A Youth-Led Celebration of Community, Music, Food, Vendors, and Fun!

We invite you to the 1st Annual MayFest, a bilingual youth-led community event that will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Cottonwood Park (100 La Plata Circle, Parachute, CO 81635). This vibrant, family-friendly event is designed to bring together youth, their families, and local organizations to engage with community resources, explore career and internship opportunities, and enjoy a variety of fun activities.

Event Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 5K Race (Benefiting the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Garfield County)
• 9:00 AM – Pancake Breakfast (Benefiting PEO)
• 9:00 AM – Non-profit/Vendor Check-In
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Show and Shine (Car Show)
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Opening Acts from G16 Schools
• 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – GVRC Dancers
• 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Drop-In Kickball hosted by Parachute/Battlement Mesa Parks & Recreation District
• 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Battle of the Bands
• 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM – Headliner: Peach Street Revival

Community organizations, vendors, and businesses are encouraged to participate by setting up a booth to provide resources for youth and families or sell products. To secure a booth, please RSVP by April 26th through the provided form: Booth Registration Form. The event organizers ask participants to bring a table, chair, bilingual materials, and consider offering a youth-focused activity at their booth.
