Homecoming 2024, October 8-12, "A Night in New York." Tuesday, dress-up day is City of Lights. GVHS: 9th graders = green; 10th graders = purple; 11th graders = blue; 12th graders = white; staff = black. Wednesday, GVHS dress-up day "Streets of New York" (dress is grunge, gray, and baggy clothes). Studman Volleyball at GVHS 6:00 PM, Chili Cookoff at 6:00 PM, Powderpuff Football at 7:00 PM, Bonfire and Car Smash 8:00 PM. Thursday: Thursday, October 10th: Dress up day: "New Years Party" GVHS: Wear all black and a New Year's hat or headband. GVHS HOME Volleyball Game VS Olathe C-Team: 4:00pm, JV: 5:00pm, V: 6:00pm. Dress up day: Cardinal Pride (school spirit- wear red, black, white, and/or Cardinal gear). Homecoming Parade 2:30 pm. Park along Cardinal Way to watch! Community pep rally in main gym at GVHS and tailgate at GVHS following the parade. GVHS HOME Football Game at GVHS VS Olathe 7:00 pm. Gate Fees: $7 Adults, $5 Senior Citizens, $5 Students. G16 Students and staff free with school ID. Children ages 5 and under free. Pay at the door or order online here. Show email receipt at door for admission. Homecoming Royalty/Class of 2025 Torch Burning- Halftime of Football Game.
Homecoming 2024, del 8 al 12 de octubre, "Una noche en Nueva York". El martes, el día de los disfraces es la Ciudad de las Luces. GVHS: estudiantes de 9º grado = verde; estudiantes de 10º grado = morado; Estudiantes de 11º grado = azul; Estudiantes de 12º grado = blancos; bastón = negro. Miércoles, día de disfraces de GVHS "Streets of New York" (el vestido es grunge, gris y ropa holgada). Studman Volleyball en GVHS 6:00 PM, Chili Cookoff a las 6:00 PM, Powderpuff Football a las 7:00 PM, Hoguera y Car Smash 8:00 PM. Jueves: Jueves, 10 de octubre: Día de vestir: "Fiesta de Año Nuevo" GVHS: Viste todo de negro y un sombrero o diadema de Año Nuevo. GVHS HOME Juego de Voleibol VS Olathe C-Team: 4:00 pm, JV: 5:00 pm, V: 6:00 pm. Día de disfraces: Orgullo Cardinal (espíritu escolar: viste ropa roja, negra, blanca y / o Cardinal). Desfile de Bienvenida 2:30 pm. ¡Estaciona a lo largo de Cardinal Way para mirar! Rally de ánimo de la comunidad en el gimnasio principal de GVHS y en la puerta trasera de GVHS después del desfile. Juego de fútbol GVHS HOME en GVHS VS Olathe 7:00 pm.
Homecoming Early Release. AM preschool- normal release 10:40am; PM Preschool cancelled. CFL K/1 & BUE released at 11:30am; GVMS and GVHS released at 12:30 pm; PM Cardinal Club Cancelled. All students will be fed breakfast and lunch. Early release for the Homecoming parade at 2:30 pm on Cardinal Way.
Salida anticipada de regreso a casa. Preescolar AM- salida normal 10:40 AM; Preescolar PM cancelado. CFL K/1 y BUE lanzados a las 11:30 am; GVMS y GVHS liberados a las 12:30 pm; PM Cardinal Club cancelado. Todos los estudiantes serán alimentados con desayuno y almuerzo.
