Dear Potential Grand Valley HS Athletics Sponsor,

The Grand Valley High School Athletics Department is proud to support the hard work, dedication, and leadership of our student-athletes. Today, we are reaching out to invite you to partner with us in making a lasting impact.

On May 30, 2026, we will host our Golf Tournament at Battlement Mesa Golf Course. This event brings together community members, local businesses, alumni, and supporters for a great day of golf — all for an even greater cause.

Funds raised from this tournament directly support local Grand Valley High School students by helping cover the costs of athletic camps, specialized training, equipment needs, and development opportunities. These experiences allow our student-athletes to grow not only in their sport, but also in our bedrocks of Cardinal Culture: Character, Community and Competing.

We are seeking:
● Tournament sponsors
● Hole sponsors
● Prize and Raffle donations
● Monetary contributions
● Teams and individual golfers

● All donations are tax deductible

Your support ensures that financial barriers do not prevent our students from accessing valuable training and camp experiences. Every contribution — large or small — makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our athletes.

Thank you for supporting the student-athletes of Grand Valley High School. With your help, we can continue building strong programs and even stronger young people.

Sincerely,
Andy Parks Garfield 16 District Activities Director

Grand Valley High School had three wrestlers qualify for the 3A State Wrestling Tournament this season.

Brody Gherardini- Freshman (106 lbs) placed 3rd at regionals to qualify for State. At State, he won his first match and lost his 2nd match. Brody then wrestled through four additional matches to finish 5th overall.

Jackson Ruggard- Junior (132 lbs) placed 2nd at regionals to qualify for State. At the State tournament, he lost the first match but won the second. Unfortunately lost his 3rd match and he couldn't place. We look forward to seeing him back next season.

Hunter Carbajal- Senior (150 lbs) placed 4th at regionals to qualify for State. He competed hard at the state tournament, unfortunately could not get a win.

Congratulations to these athletes for representing GVHS at the 3A State Wrestling Championships!
